GWAPE

In my image, I am turned because it's in the Style of how Vermeer painted. In this I look confident because when I'm a senior I want to be confident. I also tried to look happy but serious because when I'm a senior I want to be happy but I don't want everything to be a game. I wore a black shirt to blend into the black background. I have no makeup on and my hair is up. I have my hair up because you can barely see it and Griet always has her hair hidden. The identity I want to have when I'm a senior is a singer. I also want to have good grades and go into a good college.

I will accomplish my goal of being confident is trying to not care about what other people think as much as I do now. I will accomplish my goal of being happy by surrounding myself with things that make me happy and not the bad things. I will achieve my goal of getting good grades and going into a good college by trying my best at school and start studying more.

"Strangers would think I was calm"(1). This quote sticks out to me because people who don't know me would think I'm different than I really am. They would think I am quiet and calm, but I'm really not. I won't be quiet and not say what I think is right whenever I feel it is wrong. "'This is a tool. I use it to help me see . . .' 'But- you use your eyes to see.' 'True, but my eyes do not always see everything'" (59-60). I also liked this quote because it says he isn't using his eyes to see, sort of like he gets other people's perspective and not just his. I want to do that when I am a senior because then it won't be just me.
